HEALTH campaigners are holding a stall by St Stephen’s Church on Saturday to drum up support for a save the NHS march.
Organised by Our NHS Worcestershire, familiar face Neal Stote, former chairman of Save the Alex, will be there asking people to do their bit for the campaign which culminates culminates in a demonstration on March 4 in London.
“We want people to come up to us and have their say on the NHS,” said Neal.
“We also want people to get involved, this is their NHS and there will be coaches from right across the country heading to London for the event.
“At least one will be coming through Redditch and tickets are just £5.
“Save the Alex always wanted the best for Worcestershire and this group is trying to get more people involved.”
He said concerns centred not just on acute care but also on things like doctors restricting the number of knee and hip replacement operations to save money.
