A FAMILY of five Redditch sisters have clocked up a whopping 425 years of life experience between them.
Vera Parker (98), Hazel Notley (88), Iris Clingan (86), Pat Jones (81) and Jill Russell (73) are proud to have gathered more than 400 years between them and with the exception of Pat, have all remained close by to their hometown of Redditch throughout their lives.
Iris, a Wirehill resident, said: “We are all very close and enjoy getting together as much as possible. I must say, I think we look very smart for our ages.”
The sisters had a get-together before Christmas and it was here that they realised the impressive number of years they shared between them.
