TWO Redditch car parks will be temporarily closed for a day next week whilst lining works are carried out.
Mordiford Close in Winyates and Fladbury Close in Woodrow will be closed on Wednesday (March 8) from 8am so that the new car parks can be lined.
This is the final step of the redevelopment which has seen resurfacing of car park areas, improved landscaping and improvements to bin stores to provide weekly collections in Mordiford Close.
While Fladbury Close has seen 14 garages knocked down to make way for better car parking, landscaping and improved community safety.
Residents are advised not to use the car parking areas the night before as they may have access issues in the morning.
Guy Revans, Head of Environmental Services, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the car parks and aim to keep this to a minimum. The completion of the lining will ensure that residents can get the best out of the new bays.”
