TWO people were taken to the Alexandra Hospital following a three car crash near Redditch last night.
At around 11pm last night (Thursday, March 2) emergency services were called to the smash on the M42 near Redditch and Bromsgrove, westbound between junctions 1 and 2.
Two ambulances and a paramedic area support officer from West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene.
Three people were checked over by paramedics, including a man in his 60s complaining of chest pain and a rib injury, a woman in her 50s with a right knee injury and a third patient was also assessed and discharged at the scene after refusing to go to hospital.
The man and woman were taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
Bromsgrove and Redditch firefighters attended the scene where they made the vehicles safe.
