A REDDITCH based company has made it into The Sunday Times Top 100 list of the fastest growing British small or medium size exporters.
Online active-wear retailer, Gymshark, which was formed in 2012 by teenager Ben Francis and a group of high school friends, sits at 41st on the list.
Gymshark started as a screen printing operation in a garage, before growing into fitness brand which now boasts more than three million social media followers from 150 different countries.
The company has had an annual sales growth of 61 per cent in the last two years and their total sales add up to £12.8million with £7.5million of them being international sales.
Richard Chapple, Director at Gymshark, said: ‘’We’re really pleased to have ranked inside the top 50 of the Export Track league table; we’ve worked hard to build a sustainable business outside our domestic market and we’re investing further on focus in this area, creating specialist teams that will focus on territories outside the UK here from our HQ in Redditch.’’
Gymshark are looking to recruit 50 people in the next 12 months in global roles from content and brand to product, marketing and trading.
