BATCHLEY Support Group and Redditch Communities (BSGARC) chair and trustee, Margaret Muckle MBE, was this week presented with a cheque for £2,200 by Peter Williams, president of Rotary Club of Redditch.
The group is the Rotary Club’s chosen local charity for this year and the funds will be used to further promote the work of the group which includes running junior and senior youth clubs at Batchley Community Centre.
Members are also actively involved at Batchley First School and elsewhere in the town.
Redditch Rotary Club meets at 1pm for lunch every Monday at the Abbey Hotel to enjoy good company and listen to interesting speakers and much, much more.
