FIRE crews from Redditch were called to help when a thatched cottage near Worcester went up in flames during the weekend.
At around 8.50pm on Sunday (March 26) pumps from Redditch were used to put out the blaze at a property on Worcester Road, Egdon.
Crews from all over the county were called to the scene, alongside a specialist unit from Droitwich, to help extinguish the fire and make the property safe afterwards.
