ENJOY a cup of tea or coffee and and help a really worthy cause is the rallying cry of Alcester Royal British Legion as it closes in on its Poppy Appeal target.
The Legion has organised a special coffee morning event this coming Saturday (April 8) from 10am to 12noon at St Nicholas Church House.
The current total for the Alcester Poppy Appeal 2016-17 is £12,350 and the target is to reach £13,000 before September 2017.
A raffle is also on the agenda and cake will be served too. All welcome.
