A 17 year-old boy has lost a tooth after he was viciously attacked at a party in Redditch last week.
The teenager was outside in the smoking area of the Abbeydale Community Club on Woodfield Close at around 11pm on Friday (March 31) when he became involved in an altercation.
A group of people then physically attacked the victim and punched him in the face.
He was later taken to hospital where he was treated for cuts and scratches to his face – and he also lost a tooth.
Enquiries are currently ongoing but officers are keen for anyone who saw the assault, who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously or who was in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
An 18th birthday party is understood to have been taking place at the premises that evening and officers are also keen to speak with anyone who attended to see if they can help with the investigation.
