RAISE a glass to the Worcester-Birmingham & Droitwich Canals Society which is holding a fund-raising weekend beer festival at the Park Gate Inn near Bromsgrove.
The event, from Friday (April 21) to Sunday (April 23) will be aiming to raise much needed funds for canals and waterways groups.
Volunteers will be on hand with information about the history of our local canals and the work currently being carried out in and around the area. You will also be able to find out more about forthcoming events.
And with 32 beers, eight ciders and three perries to enjoy at the Kidderminster Road venue, which is on the No 42 Redditch to Kidderminster bus route the event should go with a swing.
The festival starts at 5pm on the Friday and continues all day Saturday and Sunday.
