REDDITCH town centre is set to get a new home and garden superstore this summer, with the arrival of The Range.

The homeware giant is coming to Redditch thanks to a deal negotiated by Capital & Regional, owners of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

The Range, which will be opening in the Kingfisher Centre in the former BHS unit on Park Walk just opposite Marks and Spencer in the coming months, stocks more than 65,000 products across 16 different departments, from homewares and furniture, through to DIY and art supplies.

The exact date of the store opening will be announced nearer the time.

Ken Williams, the Kingfisher Shopping Centre’s general manger, comments: “We’re thrilled The Range has chosen Redditch to open its next store.

“We are always striving to improve the Centre, striving to create a great shopping environment for our customers.

“This new addition is the perfect fit for this space because it adds to our varied retail mix.”

Chris Dawson, owner and founder of The Range, added: “Opening a new store is always an exciting moment for the company and Redditch is no exception.

“I would like to thank the shopping centre management for welcoming us and being so supportive. We are confident that the Redditch community will enjoy exploring the fantastic product selection on offer.”

The Range is the one of the fastest growing home, leisure and garden retailers in the UK with over 135 stores nationwide.
