COLOURFUL cartoons of the 1980s kind will be taking over Redditch thanks to an exhibition at Forge Mill Needle Museum.
The exhibition by Marvel Artist Lee Bradley, is running until Sunday, May 14 and will give people the chance to learn more about the iconic characters and relive some childhood memories.
Among the characters on display will be Spiderwoman, Spiderman, Thundercats, He-Man, Transformers, Galaxy Rangers and Inspector Gadget.
The museum will also have videos and computer games from the era for visitors to watch and play.
Lee will be on hand this Saturday (April 22) and next Sunday (April 30), to answer questions and demonstrate some of the techniques used to recreate these iconic characters.
He will also be holding two six week drawing workshops for adults and teens (aged 12 to 18) to develop skills using the retro cartoons as inspiration, costing £30.
An 80s soundtrack will be provided by Vintage Trax as well as the chance to meet the Marshmallow Man, Ghostbusters and Marc Silk – the voice behind Scooby Doo.
