POLICE had to call for back-up after a fight broke out in broad daylight between eight and 20 people on Castle Road in Alcester last Tuesday, April 18.
The first police unit on the scene arrested a woman but they needed more help to detain the prisoner as well as deal with other members of the mob intent on obstructing the arrest.
However with the arrival of reinforcements, the incident, which happened at 3.30pm, was quickly resolved.
