GET your garden growing at the Plant, Produce Fayre and Car Boot at Willow Trees community centre in Church Hill next Sunday, May 7.
Organised by Church Hill Big Local it’s looking to build on the highly successful Plant & Produce fayres held last year.
These concentrated solely on the selling of various plants and local produce, but this year they’re introducing a car boot element to appeal to even more local residents.
Anyone interested in booking a stall can do so by calling in advance on 07577 475331.
Then on Tuesday, May 9 Big Local is holding their latest Church Hill Community Litter Pick.
People are invited to meet at the playground next to Moon’s Moat First School in Cleeve Close at 5.30pm.
Everyone is welcome and equipment will be provided.
Big Local’s Chris Thomas said: “We are hoping to have a good number of local residents from the area come along to get stuck in. We will only be out for about an hour.”
