A REDDITCH woman striving to reach the finals of her very first beauty pageant is asking for the public to get behind her.
Stephanie New, aged 20, from Church Hill, entered the Miss England regional competition and is set to attend the finals at the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square, London on May 12.
In order to be successful in the next round, she is hoping for the support of her home town.
“People have been great so far but any votes I can get from my home town would mean the world to me,” said New Beauty business owner Stephanie.
“I had never thought of entering anything like this before – I didn’t expect to get this far at all. But it’s going really well, and I’m so excited for the final now.”
