POTENTIALLY dozens of cars have been damaged by tyre-slashing criminals in Redditch this week.
At some point between Sunday night (April 30) and Monday morning (May 1) several residents who live between Oakenshaw and Park Farm South awoke to find that their car and van tyres had been systematically slashed by vandals in the area- often with more than one tyre on each vehicle being destroyed.
Several vehicles in Eckingotn Close, Dowlers Hill Crescent and Auxerre Avenue were reported to be vandalised in this way.
The police received reports at around 7.25am yesterday and have increased the numbers of Safer Neighbourhood Team members in the area in response.
