LOCAL campaigner Neal Stote has officially handed in his papers to stand as a candidate for National Health Action in the General Election of June 8.
Mr Stote lives in Redditch, works in Redditch, employs in Redditch and has children that go school in Redditch. After a spell as an environmental education officer with Redditch borough council he now works for his family business which has its offices in Redditch.
Mr Stote has played a key role in the battle to retain services at the Alexandra Hospital, and he has never given up his belief that the Alex must remain a fully functioning district general hospital.
He said: “Redditch deserves better, better health services, better schools, better housing and better politics. Redditch needs its own voice in Westminster, not one tamed by large party politics and their whips.”
Neal believes if it matters to Redditch it matters to me. I genuinely care and wants to hear what’s important to you. On June 8 you can vote to put a voice for Redditch in Parliament, vote to take the fight for a better Redditch to Parliament and vote for a person who is free to represent you not just their party.”
