REDDITCH Operatic Society are on the lookout for a leading lady to star in their upcoming musical ‘Sister Act’ to be performed at the Palace Theatre in November 2017.
Their search has officially begun to fill the role of ‘Deloris Van Cartier’ – also known as Sister Mary Clarence – a role which was made famous by Whoopi Goldberg in the 1992 film by Joseph Howard.
ROS are looking for anybody who might be interested in taking on the role and invite them to attend their ‘Sister Act Introduction Night’ at Community House, 103 Easemore Road, Redditch, B98 8EY on Tuesday, May 23.
As well as the role of Deloris, ROS will also be looking to cast a number of other principle nuns, backup singers, dancers and men to play gangsters. The show will be performed at the Palace Theatre from November 21-25.
