A DYNAMIC governor is being sought to help Pitcheroak School drive forward lots of exciting changes to their building and other premises-related matters.
The aim is to recruit an enthusiastic representative from the local community who understands and cares about the status of the school who wishes to make a positive contribution to the life chances of children with additional needs and want to share their skills to make a difference.
Pitcheroak School is based in Batchley and is a community special school that provides education and specialist support for approximately 140 pupils from four to 19 years old who have a range of learning needs from developmental delay to very complex learning and communication needs.
Governors are invited into school during the day to attend events and activities as well as observing lessons. The main governing body meeting is held termly on Tuesday evenings from 5pm.
