PEOPLE in Redditch who have lost their father and would like to remember him this Father’s Day are invited to visit Huntleys Funeral Services who are running a special competition.
Open to anyone who wishes to remember their late father – and not just those who have used Huntleys previously – the idea is to nominate your dad alongside a special message, and the winner will have a rose bush named after him.
To enter, people can pop into Huntleys at 58 Ipsley Street and enter their dad’s name, with a message and their contact details, ready to be hung on a special memory tree. The winner will be picked on June 16, in time for Father’s Day, and they will have a rose bush named after their dad alongside a special plaque made in his memory.
Paula Cook, from Huntleys, said: “This is a wonderful way to celebrate and remember the special men in our lives. We are looking forward to making someone’s Father’s Day very special.”
