REDDITCH FIRST: SALLY Woodhall, the independent candidate for the Redditch constituency Parliamentary seat says she will put Redditch and its people first and foremost if elected on June 8.
“I’ve listened to what all the other candidates have said and they are all party driven, I’m Redditch driven,” she said.
“They’re all making promises and they cannot follow through with them because they haven’t got the approval of their parties, but not me.
“I don’t have to do that because all I need to do is ask the people of Redditch.”
She said she was answerable only to the people of the constituency and would do everything in her power to ensure what they wanted got done.
“I cannot be bullied, bribed or bought, I’m trustworthy and I’m truthful if something can’t be done I won’t say it can be, I will be straight and honest with the people of this town,” she said.
She added that she was a mother but with her children grown up she wouldn’t have issues of child care should she be elected.
“I’ve lived in this town for 50 years and I know Redditch and Redditch knows me. Thee are no cobwebs in my past they can dig over, I am what I am.”
She puts the restoration of services at the Alexandra Hospital at the top of her ‘to do’ list.
