A FAIRER SOCIETY: KEVIN White, the Green Party candidate for the Redditch constituency parliamentary seat a vote for his party would be a vote for a more equal and fairer society and above all a more sustainable than the one we have now.
“Every Green vote counts as it is a vote for placing the environment and the threat of climate change at the centre of our politics, and for standing up for better funded public services and for social justice,” he said.
“We need politicians who will make narrowing the gap between the richest and poorest a top priority. It cannot be right that in Britain a small elite are getting richer while millions are struggling to make ends meet. Britain’s richest one per cent own as much as the poorest 55 per cent.”
“The Green Party will stop and reverse the privatisation of the NHS. Nothing short of a publicly owned, publicly run NHS free at the point of service will do.”
“Our NHS has been severely damaged by continual change driven by the ideological commitment of recent governments to privatising the NHS. With years of underfunding and mismanagement, it’s no wonder staff morale is so low.
“I would fight for the Alex to return to being a fully functioning hospital with all the essential services required in a town the size of Redditch.”
