THIEVES got away with a quantity of money in broad daylight after distracting a member of the public as they were using a cashpoint machine.
The incident happened at 12 midday last Saturday as someone was using the cashpoint at the Co-op store on Alcester Road, Studley.
Two cars pulled up nearby, one red, the other white and the occupants got out and started to argue, distracting the person using the cashpoint.
They turned to look at the argument just as their cash was dispensed and it is thought it was then that someone from the cars reached over and grabbed the money.
The passengers then got back in the cars and drove off.
