POLICE suspect a mass brawl on the ‘rec’ off Studley High Street was a punch up between Redditch and Studley youngsters arranged on social media.
Several passersby reported the fight which took place at 3.30pm last Saturday afternoon.
Estimates of between 30and 50 teenagers, both girls and boys, were reported and police and ambulance crews attended to sort the situation out and deal with the casualties.
In the end one 15 year-old lad was taken to Accident and Emergency with several chipped teeth and a cut to the head.
Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to ring 101 and quote the crime number 0306 17/06/2017.
