STAFF from an Alcester-based funeral arrangers are looking to help local wildlife with a campaign to collect used postage stamps.
Christopher O’Brien, funeral arranger at Hemming and Peace is urging people to help The British Hedgehog Preservation Society by coming forward with their used postage stamps.
People can simply cut around old stamps and hand them in to Chris in the branch on the High Street from where they will be sent on to the charity who can exchange them for money to help the hedgehogs.
Founded in 1982 the Hedgehog Preservation Society offers help and advice to those with sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs and maintains a list of rehabilitators in the UK.
