EXCITEMENT is building for the St Leonard’s Church annual Summer Fête this Saturday, July 1.
The event at the Beoley church will run from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and will be opened by popular singer Stephen Cesari, who will be singing a number of songs from his current repertoire.
Also on hand will be pupils from three local schools who will be entertaining the crowds while more music will be provided by the Worcestershire Players.
The Reverend Paul Irving said “This year’s fête is set to be better than ever. We will be having our usual mix of stalls ranging from tombola to the coconut shy, plant stall to White Elephant. We are also planning face painting and a bouncy castle, alongside a barbecue and cake sale.”
