PEOPLE in Alcester are going quackers for ducks as the annual rubber Duck Race swims into town this weekend.
This Saturday, July 8, from 4pm people are invited to look on as the yellow ducks embark from the Old Recreation Ground on Gas House Lane and and cross the finish line by Oversley Bridge.
Ducks cost £1 each and will be available before the race on the High Street and on Swan Street. Prizes are on offer with first place winning £100, second place winning £50 and third place taking home £25.
All money raised will go towards Alcester Christmas lights and bunting.
