A REDDITCH company which designs and manufactures retail displays has unveiled a new training course to give unemployed adults vital workplace skills.
Heartbeat UK, based in Arthur Street, has added an eight-week Prepare for Work scheme to its suite of manufacturing training courses, starting this month.
The company officially opened its £250,000 centre ‘The Training Academy’ in May and now the family-owned business has committed to helping local unemployed people with a new fully funded training programme.
Amy Hodgetts, Director at The Training Academy, said: “Our manufacturing training courses have been a real success and now we are also committed to supporting other sectors with planning and developing future talent for industry.”
