UK-wide firm Poundstretcher is opening a branch in the Kingfisher shopping centre.
The brand new store will officially open to shopper in Redditch at 8.30am this Wednesday (July 26) in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre on Walford Walk.
To commemorate the new shop, Mayor of Redditch, Councillor Jenny Wheeler, will be attending this Saturday (July 29) at 8.30am to officially open the store in the heart of the community.
From 10am until 4pm on Saturday, a fun-day for the whole family will be held at the store, with free games, balloon models, voucher giveaways, and the chance to win some of the store’s best selling items.
The 10,710 square ft. store is set to be full of bargains all served by the local Poundstretcher team.
Poundstretcher provides customers with bargains on a variety of branded household products, from gardening gear to homeware, as well as a selection of toiletries and branded confectionery and drinks.
Area Manager, Mark McGeehan, said: “We are delighted to be opening our brand new store in Redditch. This will be our second store in the Redditch area, and shows how important the local community there is to us.
“Our bright, fresh new store has created 20 new jobs in the area, which we are very proud to have done.

The new store will be in the Kingfisher Centre, next door to Debenhams (where Poundland used to be).
