THIEVES smashed a rear French window to get into a property in Middletown Lane, Sambourne on Monday morning, July 31.
Once inside they removed a puppy from its cage in the hallway and shut it away before searching the house and stealing a Tag watch, assorted amounts of foreign currency, two Dyson vacuum cleaners and a curved Samsung TV.
Elsewhere a black Ford Fiesta has been stolen from Snake Lane in Alvechurch.
The vehicle, which has a red roof, carried the registration number BG65 XON and was taken over last Friday night (July 28-29) without the keys.
