ACORNS Children’s Hospices are holding a special ‘Valuation Day’ in partnership with Biddle & Webb’s the auctioneers.

Acorns Furniture Shop at Becketts Farm, off the A435 at Wythall, will open its doors on Wednesday, August 16 from 10am to 1pm for visitors to have their antiques valued by the experts.

Joseph Taylor, Acorns Becketts’ shop manager said: “Bring your antiques, collectables, jewellery, silver and fine art for a free, no obligation valuation or consign to the auction on the same day. Donations will be accepted to Acorns Children’s Hospice on the day.

“The Acorns Furniture Shop opened in January 2017 and has a great offering of quality, second hand furniture. Whether you’re looking to replace a worn out wardrobe or on the hunt for an ace antique, the unit is brimming with pre-loved bargains.”

All revenue raised goes towards the crucial work of Acorns Children’s Hospice and its work providing specialist palliative care for life-limited and life-threatened babies, children and young people and support for their families across the Midlands.

Acorns Furniture also operates a house collections service.
