FANS of music, cricket and real ale are in for a treat at this year’s Feck Fest – a day of fun and indulgence for everyone.
The event on Sunday, August 27, will feature 12 live bands and singers at Feckenham Cricket Club, including, Small Doses, My Grey Horse, and tribute acts from Elvis and Amy Winehouse. From 12noon onwards, guests can enjoy cider, Pimm’s and Prosecco bars, a barbecue, pig roast, 360 Play, zorbs, bouncy castles and cricket.
The festival coincides with the annual cricket match when St Augustine’s take on arch rivals Bridley Moor with the action scheduled to start at 12.30pm.
This year, event organisers Hayley Bocking, Matt Henning, Bob Gordon and Amanda Gordon have chosen to raise as much money as possible for the Craig and Charlotte Saving Hearts Foundation, which aims to provide the area with community access defibrillators and training.
Tickets for Feck Fest cost £8 for adults, £15 for a family ticket, and £2 for children under five and adults aged 65+.
“We’ve been working really hard behind the scene to support this fantastic charity and we look forward to celebrating this special day with everyone,” said Hayley.
