A KIND-hearted trio of Scouts took time out from raising money for their 2018 Jamboree to help the Inspire Training Centre in Winyates.
The youngsters, Jack, aged ten, Millie, 12, and their cousin Leon, 13, are all members of the Matchborough 1st Troop and have been busy across Redditch running events and games to raise enough money – £550 each – to pay for their trip to Ireland next year for the International Jamboree.
However the generous bunch, despite not yet reaching their targets, still managed to find £150 for Inspire, which trains people to deal with emotionally troubled children.
Millie and Jack’s proud mum, Karina, said: “I know how hard they’ve worked to raise their money and they just thought that they’d help others on the way to reaching their total.”
