NEW paths costing £11,000 have been laid at Studley cemetery.
The paths, which offer easy access for wheelchair users and pushchairs, are the result of a campaign led by parish Councillors Brian Dixon and Jill Beard and were paid for out of the parish’s burial fund.
“It’s taken three to four years but the paths are a big step forward to where we want to be and they look beautiful,” said Coun Dixon.
Coun Colin Summers, who oversaw the project, paid tribute to Redditch firm CR MacDonald of Heming Road which carried out the work.
“They were extremely professional and liaised with us throughout to bring the project to a successful conclusion,” he said.
