POLICE have issued an alert after three teenage girls were approached by men ‘looking for supermarkets’ in Alcester last Wednesday, September 20.
The first incident happened at around 3.30pm in Crooks Lane, Alcester, when a man, described as white, in his 30s, bald and wearing tracksuit bottoms, asked the girl of she knew where the nearest Sainsbury’s was.
Fifteen minutes later, in Kinwarton Road, another teen was approached by a man, this one described as aged about 24, 5′ 9″ tall, with dark hair, stubble, of ‘chubby’ build and wearing a white T-shirt.
He asked her for her mobile number and a series of personal questions. He was in a silver/grey car.
Five minutes later in School Road, Alcester, a third teenage girl was approached by a man asking directions for Morrison’s supermarket and continued with more personal questions.
He was white, mid 30s with short brown hair, 6’ tall of large build and wearing jeans and navy blue polo shirt with white stripes on the collar.
He was in a dark grey small car.
