Brewing up some tasty charity fun for Primrose

A VINTAGE tea party in Alcester went off with a bang and swing, raising vital funds for local charity, the Primrose Hospice.

Guests were invited to the pop-up party at Cookhill Village Hall last weekend where a 1930s and 1940s themed afternoon complete with fancy dress, fine china and swing music was enjoyed.

Alongside the retro jazz performance from Alicia Benbow and teatime treats, those getting into the vintage vibe generously supported a raffle, raising £355 for Primrose.

The Queen of Hearts photographer who did a vintage photo booth at the event, has also offered to donate £1 from any orders she receives to Primrose.
