Have your say on the future of Redditch council's firework spectacular

VISITORS to the Redditch Firework Spectacular tomorrow night, Thursday, November 2, will have the chance to shape the event for the future, writes Alice Rees.

The event, in Arrow Valley Park, features a funfair from 6pm with an entertainment roadshow following at 6.30pm featuring a host of local acts.

The firework display is scheduled to begin at 7.30pm.

To complement it, Redditch Borough Council is looking to get feedback from residents and visitors to find out what they think about the firework spectacular and how they would like this event to look in the future.

It is hoped the survey will allow officers to gather information on what visitors did or didn’t enjoy, ideas for future events and what stopped them attending if they didn’t go this year.

The survey should take no more than five minutes and is available at www.redditchbc.gov.uk/consultations and is open for responses until 9am on Monday November 13.

Huw Moseley, arts development and events officer, said: “We would encourage anyone who attends our Firework Spectacular this year to complete this survey so we can really understand your views and opinions. It will help us shape future events to be exactly what our residents and visitors want.”
