POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, November 22) in Colts Lane in Winyates, Redditch.
The incident involved a pedestrian and a red Ford Focus and happened at around 4.25pm.
A woman in her 80s was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, with injuries that are thought to be potentially life threatening.
The driver of the car is not thought to have been seriously injured.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 563s of 22 November.
