AS the temperatures begin to plummet, Redditch residents are being asked to give the gift of warmth this Christmas at the latest clothing collection for Syrian refugees.
The plea comes from the charity People in Motion which is holding a collection next Saturday, December 2, with local group Bromsgrove & Redditch Welcomes Refugees.
It will be on the Green at Headless Cross crossroads from 2pm to 4pm and there is plenty of convenient parking available for donors.
Organisers are particularly hoping people can donate socks, scarves, hats and new underwear as well as jumpers and coats.
