A REDDITCH based company has made it onto The Sunday Times Top 100 list of Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing sales.
Online active-wear retailer, Gymshark, which was formed in 2012 by teenager Ben Francis and a group of high school friends, sits at number 12 on the list.
The Redditch-based company has more than three million social media followers in more than 150 countries. Exports to the US make up more than 40 per cent of its sales, which reached £40.7million this year.
A total of 13 companies from the Midlands made it onto the list this year (compared to 11 last year) including eight new entrants to the league table. Their sales have grown by an average of 66 per cent a year over three years to a total of £563m, and together they employ more than 1,800 people.
