BIG hearted friends are stepping out for their pal Lucy Gardner who has been diagnosed with leukaemia.
Her colleague Lisa Gardner has organised a three-legged sponsored walk from Lucy’s home in Allen Close, Studley, to the Nevill Arms on Evesham Road to raise enough money to send Lucy to Disneyland Paris to cheer her up.
“Lucy’s a really big Disney fan and we’ll be doing the sponsored walk in Disney costumes,” said Lisa, from Greenlands.
“She is just a lovely lovely girl and she deserves a really good break from everything that has been happening to her.”
If she’s strong enough Lucy hopes to join the walk but her mum Trudy is definitely down to take part.
