AGE UK’s Mason Road shop has recently joined Worcestershire’s ‘Safe Places’ scheme offering people a short term ‘safe place’ to go if they have a problem, feel threatened or are worried when they are out and about.
Staff and volunteers have also attended a Dementia Friends session. The charity is encouraging everyone to increase their awareness and understanding of the condition and the small things that can make a difference to people living with dementia and their families.
