ST Peter’s Church, Ipsley is holding a ‘Blue’ Christmas Service on Thursday, December 21 at 4pm.
This is for folk who are experiencing sadness at this Christmas time, maybe through a bereavement or other significant loss.
It can be difficult to celebrate if health issues threaten the future or loss of employment or an aspiration seem to be difficult to bear.
The service will be quiet and reverent, candles will be lit, with readings and thoughtful carols.
It will be led by Rev. Richard Harding assisted by Peter McLaren.
Everyone is invited to go along with the hope of offering them light, even in the darkest times, which is the real meaning of Christmas.
