A TOTAL of 5,440 people in Worcestershire started apprenticeships in 2017, an increase on last year and faster than the national average.
The county has one of the fastest growing economies and the increase in apprenticeships year-on-year reinforces this.
Last year’s apprenticeship figure in Worcestershire was 5,390.
