BRAMBLES Care Home in Headless Cross will be throwing open the doors to welcome people for an open day with a historical twist.

On Wednesday, January 10, the team and residents at the Sanctuary Care home on Birchfield Road are inviting local people to join them for a talk from novelist, renowned local historian and former headteacher Ralph Richardson.

“I’m looking forward to coming back to the Brambles and seeing all of the residents for this exciting event,” said Ralph.

“I’ll be telling a story of a disappearance mystery from the 1600s in Chipping Campden, The Cotswolds, which is still yet to be solved.”

Activities leader Fiona Morsy added: “Our residents are really looking forward to welcoming members from the local community and Ralph into our lovely home.

“The residents love it when Ralph visits, amazing them with his interesting tales from the past. We can’t wait to hear what he has to say!”
