POLICE are warning residents to be aware following an incident in Newport Drive, Alcester.
Two men had gone to the house of an elderly person and said work needed to be done on the guttering.
A small amount of work was done in a few minutes and the cost was put at £40.
The occupant only had £20 and the men said they would remove the glue from the work they had done if the remainder was not paid.
The incident happened around 2.15pm on Tuesday, January 23 and Police say the men were driving a small white van.
