YOUNG entrepreneur Kate Holland who launched her own slime-making business will be running activities for youngsters over the forthcoming half-term holiday.
The 12-year-old who attends Alvechurch Middle School started Mango.Slimeeee after watching videos on YouTube in a bid to find out how to make the most sublime slime.
And since then the business has gone from strength-to-strength. As well as selling her product at car boot sales, Kate has also held her first slime party to teach other youngsters the tricks of the trade.
Tomorrow from 9am Kate will have a stall in Redditch’s Kingfisher Centre, outside Humphries Shoes.
And she will also be holding slime making workshops from 2.15pm to 4.15pm on Tuesday, February 20, at Alvechurch Library.
Admission is £2.50.
Kate, whose biggest event so far has been the fireworks festival at Ragley Hall in Alcester, makes a huge variety of slimes in many different textures, colours and scents.
All of her creations are hand-made and made to order at home and each pot arrives with a printed care card which tells the buyer what is in their slime pot and how to care for it.
