Appeal for witnesses after OAP pedestrian suffers severe leg injuries

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Redditch on Saturday morning which left an 87-year-old man with serious leg injuries.

The incident happened at around 9.05am on March 10 in the car park of the Co-op on Headless Cross Drive.

The pensioner was rushed to hospital, where he remains, while the driver of the vehicle, a silver Ford Mondeo, was uninjured.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision.
