Redditch Editorial 4th Apr, 2018   0

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the sighting of a suspicious white transit van around the Heath Green, area of Beoley near Redditch.

The van had three occupants and the appeal comes after three men were spotted in a white van dumping a Kawasaki quad bike in one of the fishing pools down Castle Farm Lane in Studley just after 2pm on Saturday, March 31.

The quad bike was later recovered by Police.

One and a half hours later on the same day two men, one with a crowbar, were disturbed on private property messing with lorries in Haye Lane, Mappleborough Green.

They got into a white Ford Transit van, with the last three letters of the registration RJO and drove off towards Henley.

Police say good tip offs help them investigate offences.

They say anyone who sees anything suspicious should note the time, date and location.

Note the people concerned – male / female, age, height, build, hair (colour/length/style), facial hair, marks/scars, tattoos, accents.

They are also asking that people note the vehicles they were in, whether a car van, its registration, make/model, colour, livery, other features, passengers, and direction of travel.

If they had animals with them, what type, size, colour and markings were they.

Did the suspcts carry tools, and if so, what were they, shovels, nets, traps, lights, weapons.

An officer said: “Remember – if you see a crime in progress call 999. For non-emergency please contact 101.

“If you have any information, on this current incident please contact the police on 101 quoting reference 0428S 030418 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
