Children make tracks for Kingfisher Shopping Centre's nature trail

Redditch Editorial 4th Apr, 2018   0

YOUNGSTERS have been following the Spring Nature Trail through the Kingfisher Centre over the Easter holiday, learning about native British animals as they go.

Each stopping point has a different species, including deer, badger, duck and red squirrel, where the children can read about each one and are tasked with writing down a missing answer.

At the end they receive a sticker and an Easter goody bag and the parent rearranges some of the letters from the answers to qualify for a prize draw for a £50 shopping card.

Shoppers can also win a 360 Play day pass by posting their pictures on Facebook along with the #KingfisherNatureTrail hashtag.

Mum Louise said her daughters had a fantastic time completing the trail.

“It’s great because it provides a fun activity for the children to do while the parents get their shopping done.”

The event runs until next Sunday, April 15.
